I am sure that you guys all know that I coach high school cheerleading, but for those of you that don't, you learn something new everyday!! :) So, there is this particular cheerleader that several of the football parents asked if she and I were sisters. I don't really see it. She also said a bunch of students had asked her the same thing, so it was always a joke between us. Well, this past week was our Mini Camp, which is a camp that our cheerleaders run where they teach cheers, dances, etc. to 5-12 yr olds. Don't worry, we had 120 little campers this year. One of the other coaches stated "Now I know why I work with high schoolers." For me, it was normal!! ANYWAYS....one of the little campers came up to me and asked if my daughter was one of the cheerleaders. I was like "no sweety, but you can give me 10 laps for asking" hahahahaha.....just kidding....I really didn't say that, but I did ask her which one she thought was my daughter and sure enough, it was Caroline. I had to remember that I really didn't look like I was old enough to have a SENIOR in high school as a daughter, it was coming from the perspective of an 8-year-old.
P.S.....for those of you who haven't seen me lately, my hair is a little darker than normal :)
